Made from life vests once worn by refugees crossing the Aegean sea to reach Greece, the bands are made by local seamstresses on the Greek island of Lesvos.

The folks at Zoë bands donate all proceeds to humanitarian efforts in Greece, so donating to NPLH to get a band is like donating twice! To top it off, they contribute to the local economy in Greece, whose residents have given so much to support refugees in their own time of economic crisis.
